This small Central American country have been a destination on the wish list for a while. In mid-January we started a three-week trip and we cover most parts of the country that have a great variation of nature and landscape. Among the highlights was the marvelous observations we got of the Tapir and Sloth. The range of birds was fantastic with many spectacular species like Hummingbirds, Parrots, Toucans and many other colorful species. The jewel in the bird collection was the Resplendent Quetzal.
